Prince Winterwillo.    The most friendly of the M hounds, very popular but a bit of a scamp. Please just call him Willo - he likes that name. Lillian thought Willo was going to be very serious - he was always digging and finding very old things in the ground when he was young - but he likes to have fun and he soon forgot all about 'the dig'. He's called Winterwillo because he was born on a snowy day in winter. His fur is creamy-white all over and his tail is like a very long white feather duster.

Prince Roanah.   A very noble and faithful hound with a big proud nose. He has a lovely fine coat of reddish-brown colour like a strong cup of Tammy's Mevaline tea. He isn't like Willo but they are good friends. Roanah is always close to Lillian to make sure she is safe. He is also a Mevali care-giver to the very old, the very young and the very sick - he often sits by (or on!) them to give them comfort.

Princess Omi.  Omi came to Nomoni on a Hope Cloud. Shai-Dora had called her to come to life-link with Prince Roanah. Omi is a small, pretty M Hound and the same colour as Roanah but with black fringes on her long earflaps and furry tail. The two became life partners on a special shining morning in the land of Nomoni. Roanah had to come up from the Low World. He had never met Omi before but they fell in love at once! Omi had to go back to her land after and Roanah to the Low World but Omi visits Roanah often.

Prince Ashah.  Ashah is a bit of a shy M Hound. He is dark coated and handsome. He comes from the same home as Roanah but he was born first. It was a good home but there was trouble and he had to leave. He went to other homes but they were not right for him. He cried out to Shai-Dora one day and she asked MH1 (king of Nomoni) what to do. The king talked to his son and then Ashah went to Lillian and lived with her. Roanah was not happy about this and called him an 'asylum seeker' in an unkind way. (Lillian will tell you what that means). Lillian was wise and took them out for walks together and then they had fun and Roanah was kind again to Ashah, but he was always happier living with Matthew and Bugle.

Princess Paskali.  This princess has black and sparkling silver fur like a starry midnight sky - but oh! she is also super tough and very brave. She is much happier being called Paska. She was born to be a warrior hound. Paska is a daughter of Roanah and Omi but not the one that Lillian asked for from Shai-Dora. Roanah knew that Paska was the right one and he dreamed of training her to fight the evil Scorcers. Shai-Dora agreed to send her to Lillian who soon grew to love and treasure Paska. Even so, it took Paska a long time to forgive Lillian and she was always going off to be with Matthew. 

Prince Ahmu of the Sand and Sky.   Ahmu was born half way between the land of Nomoni and the Low World. It's odd that the Mevali hounds who come from there have dark fur because it's a place of light and sunshine. The sand is hot and almost white and the sky such a deep blue it looks black in the afternoon. Ahmu's black fur streams down his long earflaps and over his strong back to his thick tail. He has flashes of ginger on his coat too and is very handsome. His Mum, Rosella, was a rescued M hound who had been captured by the wicked Scorcers and their scounds. She had been saved by Queen Shai-Dora and life-linked to a Nomoni M hound. Ahmu was given to Shai-Dora to say thankyou but she asked that Lillian care for him and he became part of her family.
